The PDP Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Col Austin Akobundu (Rtd), has congratulated the members of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Umuahia Ecclesiastical Province on their 2022 Adoption Thanksgiving Service. 

 The PDP Abia Central Senatorial Candidate who was a special guest at the service held at Eze Ogbulafor Street, Ogba Ibeku, urged the Church not to relent in their prayers for him and the country at large especially as the country is facing many challenges. He was optimistic that through their collective interventions through prayers, God will surely show His mercies to the nation. 

 The immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the PDP and lover of the Church and Christians contended that despite the challenges confronting the nation, there are lots of blessings to thank God for, as he described Nigerians as products of God's mercy and kindness. 

The Service attracted the presence of the State PDP governorship candidate, Professor Uche Ikonne, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and PDP candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, the Executive Chairmen of Umuahia North and Umuahia South LGAs, Chief Ugochukwu Njinkeonye, and Dr. Chukwudi Benson respectively among other dignitaries. 

The Thanksgiving Service featured Special Prayers for the PDP Abia Central Senatorial Candidate as well as other PDP Candidates at the event. 

The highlights of the Thanksgiving Service were the cutting of the Adoption Thanksgiving Service Cake and the presentation of some awards.
